The cricket world received its first introduction to the deadliest old-ball partnership of them all. Waqar Younis and Wasim Akram shared 10 wickets in a Test for the first time, taking 15 in all as Pakistan thrashed New Zealand by an innings and 43 runs in Karachi - and 11 of the 15 were out lbw or bowled.
