Brilliant batting by Imran Khan, Javed Miandad and Inzamam, great all round performance by Wasim Akram, the player of the match and the highest wicket taker in the tournament.
The first and only ODI World Cup that Pakistan has won. In 2009 Pakistan became the World Champions in T20 format, which is now the premiere format of cricket.
